Engineering content performs best when it is useful to a researcher before it is optimised for a crawler. The following framework focuses on both technical quality and discoverability.
Define the claim before the graph
Write the research claim and the metric that supports it. Frequency control may be evaluated with nadir, RoCoF and settling time; an MPPT method may use efficiency, tracking time and oscillation loss.
Use a defensible baseline
Compare the proposed method with a recognised conventional controller or with the exact reference-paper method. Keep ratings, disturbances and solver settings consistent between cases.
Test more than one operating point
A result from one ideal condition is weak evidence. Use load steps, weather variation, parameter uncertainty, faults or noise depending on the system.
Report quantitative values
Place the main metrics in a table with units. Explain both improvement and trade-offs, such as higher control effort or sensitivity to measurement noise.
Record reproducibility details
Document software version, solver, step size, initial conditions, parameter sources and the sequence required to run each case.
